1000th entry - bittersweet

before i close down this blog with this post, i would like to thank all my readers who have been reading my entries from the time this blog began when i was in sec 3, till now, the end of jc2. it's been 4 long years...

Today also marks the end of my 1year+ relationship. It was a short one, and it is ultimately my fault that I choose not to treasure things and make the best out of it. I am terribly sorry for this...I was the one who wanted out...

I am really not in the right mood , nor in the right frame of mind to blog anymore. It has come to this point where I really find it difficult to pen down the next word, the next phrase. Forgive me, for this sloppy ending.

I must go... to somewhere where I will be alone...where only God knows...

Yesterday and today, were probably the MOST HAPPENING days of my entire exam season.

yesterday

reached school at 7am as usual, and sat down with the canoeists - chunmun, cheewee, and friend ( sorry keep forgetting your name! ). Talked about rawwr-bish as usual about com games and anime. Everyone was feeling super sian-diao-ed about the killer econs paper the previous day. For me, I was had that phrase "dumping bras" stuck in my head :/ I bet this super rubishy phrase is put in to make candidates laugh and lose focus...

Went to the library, and started studying with Kelvin(TheMaktab). Everyone's stressed , since Cambridge hasn't been very kind with our subjects this year, of which, chem is one of the killer papers. Helped him out a little for chem, and managed to finish the HCI paper for chemistry. It wasn't easy, and considering that I got a decent score, I felt that I should be prepared for the Chemistry MCQ paper in the afternoon.

Q : how hard could an mcq paper get?
A : VERY HARD

The questions, were MIND-BLASTING (inside joke) and I felt that I was totally owned by the paper. Like totally. So much for hoping for easy papers...

Left school in a hurry to meet up with Clarence... So we went to the SSDC to book a test date for the BTT. Thanks to my poor sense of direction, I got both of us lost and we ended up wandering in the industrial park. Zzz. We finally reached the place , like 23483954903 years later, only to find that their systems are down and I have to return another day. (-.-)"

Rushed down to City Hall to meet XuYun. I was late, and hence that poor guy was waiting outside the Aldephi for me... ( if you're reading this ) sorry dude! It was a Friday night, so Jaben was practically packed. Managed to meet up with a CHS senior, and did some catching up with him. ( Forgot his name too, see i got STM ) Got my foam and silicon tips, before leaving to walk around at Marina Square. The place there is just.. perfect! It was fully of the Christmas spirit! The decorations were... simply, WOAH! Xmas musics were blasting, and it was just the right atmosphere. What a change from the monotony of school and the exam hall! Walked down Singapore River and catch our bus home there. Talked more crap, and ended up dozing off on the bus home...

today

Woke up at 0730am today, meaning that I had a serious lack of sleep. Thereafter, I went down to SSDC with Nick Lim. As usual, I had a punctuality problem and I was 1 hour late. Speaking of punctuality...sad to say that in the morning, my punctuality just...SUCKS. There was a friendly instructor there who went through with us what we were to expect in the course ( in other words, brainwashing us to mug for BTT with the school... ) . After much waiting, I finally got my test date done for my BTT. Hopefully I can get through that one!

Went down to Plaza Singapura with Nick later, because he wanted to look at keyboards ( the piano-type of keyboard, not the computer one ) . Walked around a little, and I was looking out for prom clothes. There was an offer of 20% at some stall in the basement. Tempting! Mhmm... But never got anything because I guess I would get it the next time, at a date closer to prom.

Went down th RJ to mug as usual. Today the turnout was pretty bad. There was only me , WaiChuan, and EdmundT. Supposed to swim today, but unfortunately Zombie (WeiZ) was sick, so I brought my swimming gear for nothing... Finished one prelim paper for physics before leaving to join my class people. Guess the mood to mug ain't there for now.

GASP!*I AM BURNING OUT!*

Physics. I seriously wonder how the paper would be like. I am sick of being placed on the chopping board, chopped, pieced back after that only to be chopped up again the next day...

it's about 2am, and i am feeling kind of sentimental (as huiqi usually phrases it)

looking back..

it seemed only yesterday that i came into nj,
j1 life spent in macritchie with all the other canoeists
how everyone would push each other, and encourage each other,
not to mention the usual "cheer" after trainings...

thereafter i spent my j2 life in swimming
where toa payoh swimming complex was where we spent our afternoons
the team outings after trainings which we always ended up playing pool ( no pun intended )
birthday celebrations + the infamous guys' team "undies-tearing tradition"

not forgetting, 07s20
the class that i was in, for my 2 years of jc life
clement and co : taupoks + poles + wedgies = *painful* , but somewhat memorable memories
jiahao and co : b&j outings + mugging in school
yeah class spirit!

and also s23-guys aka pda
for inviting me out to play badminton with you guys
for the funny stuff that you guys always do
i had fun with ya'all!

realised that i am not too familliar with "modern physics",
in addition to my much dreaded " fields" chapter

because eugenia sent out the ambigious chain message

some people saw it as "changed from 1000 to 1140"
which resulted in people arriving when the lesson ended

hmm since it's the weekend... i guess i shall blog the full description of what happened on my birthday..

late start to the morning at 6am only to see my phone flooded with birthday wishes from pals and all...reached school at 6:55am - 5 mins late for my meeting with laine. actually i was supposed to help her out with linear regression and correlation. the only thing i remembered was that i was still half awake when yakking my head off about the important concepts , or what i think that's important. to be frank, i seemed more to be confusing her than being of any help.

after that, she said that she has to meet a friend in the canteen and got me to tag along. when i walked down the stairs into the canteen, i was kinda stunned - the whole swim team was there! i was still super stunned when they sang the bdae song and all :/ haha. i feel so gan dong! hazel and laine baked me a cake the prev day at the expense of their revision time, and the team gave me, uhh.. 5 undies!

asked the hi5 if they wanted to watch red cliff after the chemistry consol. lecture. somehow i got knocked out during the lecture and decided to go home thereafter. clement said he had to meet a friend, and so i went back with shi hao. was supposed to study, but i was rather busy going through my presents - the 5 painstakingly designed undies from the team ( oh which one had an obsene quote! ), the adidas water bottle and billabong wallet from the bros!

it was before long that night fell... nothing special happened at home so i guess that that would be all for a day... i opened my green book, and then... there was a knock on the door. i went down... and lo-and-behold! there was a mini-crowd outside my doorstep! it was a surprise party planned by dinah!

Everyone trooped in, and my mum is kind of surprised as well. there was like so many so many presents! it was certainly lively in here! there was catching up of ol' times with the chs/njc people, and random talk with the church dudes! dinah was running here and there preparing the food, etc. thanks! the surprise party lasted till about 11pm! i had lots of fun! *grins*

and ohoh, xinying-jie called from canada! woohoo!

Back from church camp! - RAW [ redemption at work]

this is the first time i am skw-ing for camp
hmm kinda interesting, since i get to see the game plan be4 it gets presented to the campers
it was kinda tiring, but nevertheless an experience overall

my bunk is the 4th floor overflow room

5-man bunk! - it ain't cramped XD

anyway, camp was a refreshing experience for the new campers
and for me too since we went to pulau ubin

time to chiong for skill a this coming saturday!

the hall was cold... brrrr... and when the examiner went : 15mins left, i was like.. [aarrgghh!] i need to use the toilet! :/
after what seemed like eternity, i left the examination hall

[instant relief!]

napfa test went well
though i am super pissed with myself

all a's, other than standing broad jump, of which i got a C
my 2.4km run is 10 flat, nothing to be proud of.
when i ended my 5th round, the timing is about 8:13. which means my last round i slowed down alot. this is terrible!

gotta keep moving, gotta keep trying!

Today's a day truly filled with ups and downs

celebrated hazel's and zi xiang's bdae with the team * surprise surprise *
got notes from a fren [ hahaha! ]
wrapped my math exercise book
refound my purpose for cca and now striving for the better

missed bus 74 in the morning -> took 73 -> chased 74 and caught it before it reached the next bus stop * pant pant *
when lighting up the candles, i burnt my finger 3 times. ( twice coz the wind blew the flame into my finger, once coz i pressed onto the metal part by mistake )
felt tired so slept on bus 73. ended up reaching toa payoh [ the other end of the trip ] and wasted a lot of time
got trashed by kiddies at coach's club , realised how weak i actually am

the flu medicine doesn't seem to be helping me
and against advices i went for training today
managed to work on butterfly stroke
though half the time i was actually clutching my head
which was throbbing and spinning
COMPLETELY OFF-FORM
